Welcome to Philly Sports Concepts

Hey Philly sports fans, designers, and logo lovers—

I’m thrilled to finally launch this site and share my very first post with you.

I’m an illustrator and graphic designer with a long-running soft spot for sports branding. Between 2012 and 2016 I spent a lot of time designing logos and uniforms, mostly for minor-league and high-school teams, along with a heavy dose of NHL concept logos and uniform designs. I loved the work, but it quickly became clear there wasn’t much of a living to be made in that corner of the sports-design world.

Flash forward to today: I’m back at it, this time focused on the teams that matter most around here—the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, and Philadelphia Union. You’ll see plenty of original logo and uniform concept designs for those five clubs on this site. I’ll also be spotlighting real logo and uniform news involving Philly’s major pro teams, plus writing about any developments that catch my eye. From time to time I’ll dig into the archives and post some of my older sports logo and uniform concepts, but the heart of PhillySportsConcepts.com will stay rooted in Philadelphia sports design for the foreseeable future.

Illustrators and designers: you’re invited

If you create Philly sports logo or uniform concepts, I’d love to feature your work. Human-made designs only—AI-generated logo concepts are not accepted. AI mockups are fine as long as the primary logo and any secondary marks are original vector art created by hand or hand-drawn in Procreate (or a similar traditional digital drawing tool).

Merch is coming

If you dig any of the concepts I post, keep an eye out—I’ll be putting selected designs on t-shirts so fans can wear them. Thanks for stopping by for the inaugural post. Stick around for new concepts, news roundups, and the occasional look back. Let’s celebrate Philly sports design together.
